The Department of Computer Science, I.T and Computer Applications in association with the ICT Academy of Tamilnadu gave training for online certification in Amazon Web Services, Cloud Practitioner Certification course for 100 students of all branches Computer Science, Information Technology and Computer Applications, both U.G and P.G. Students were given 40 hours of training and attended and cleared the Certification Course.

Hiremee – Vee technology : RECRUITMENT DRIVE

Hiremee in association with Vee technology placement drive held on 28.03.2023 at our campus for the role of Medical coder for the department of Microbiology, Biochemistry for both UG & PG. An online Assessment was conducted for 104 students on 16.03.2023 and around 34 students got shortlisted for the final round. The Final round consist of a technical & personal interview round by three panelist Mr. S. Gokula kannan – Manager, HR , Mr. S. Vinoth kannan – Assistant Manager, Coding , Mr. M. Ramesh – Senior Team Leader, HR. A total number of 29 students attended the final interview and 10 students got selected.

Student Development – Training Program

A skill development Program held on 23.03.2023 at our campus on the topic of Tips & Tricks in Quantitative Aptitude. The training was conducted for the II Year UGs for the department of Maths, Physics, English, Computer Science, Information Technology and Computer Applications. The Training program initiated with the Fundamentals of Aptitude by Dr. A. Mohan Assistant Professor from Urumu Dhanalakshmi College, Kattur. More than 200 students attended the training program and the training program was mainly about Quantitative techniques and Logical reasoning.

Naandi program

SHRIMATI INDIRA GANDHI COLLEGE in association with Naandi program “Digital Equaliser For Girls” as a part of Naan Mudhalvan program by the Government Of TamilNadu conducted the Employability skills for students and upskilling their desire to get into a Job for First Year UGs of all departments. The training program was conducted for 5 days trained by experts. Around 1045 students attended the training program with certification and trophy/ gifts for best performers.

Foxconn – Placement drive

Venpa – Foxconn Placement drive held on 13.03.2023 at our campus for the role of Executive Assembly for All UG & PG from various departments. The drive initiated with a pre placement talk by Mr. Arun Kumar N - HR Manager accompanied by three other recruiters Divya R - Lead HR, Pavithra M - HR Executive, Salma Nabila A - HR Executive. The interview was a Group discussion round and around 119 students got selected for 2.16 LPA CTC.

DURAFIT - RECRUITMENT DRIVE

Durafit Placement drive held on 04.03.2023 at our campus for the role of Junior Executive (Customer care, Online sales, Zoho tech, Project Management) for All UG & PG from various departments. The preliminary round of interview was held on 20.02.2023, in online mode for around 300 students. 34 students got shortlisted for the personality round. The Final interview consist of HR round for the shortlisted students. The selected students details will be communicated by the company shortly.

HIREMEE - VEE TECHNOLOGY - RECRUITMENT DRIVE.

Hiremee - Vee technology Placement drive held on 22.02.2023 at our campus for various departments such as Commerce, Computer science, Microbiology, Biochemistry. The preliminary interview was an online assessment for the Job role of AR Caller and it was held on 06.01.2023 and around 207 students got shortlisted and attended the Final round of interview on 22.02.2023.

Mr. M. Kesavan Manager, Mr. R. Saravanan Team lead, Mr. R. Sakthivel Senior HR, Mr. Mathiraj Senior Manager Operations, Mr. Vignesh Perumal Asst Manager Operations from Vee technology conducted a group discussion and HR round, around 25 students got shortlisted for Final virtual round.

A total number of 15 students got selected with 3 Lakh Per Annum as CTC.

followed by a Q & A session accompanied by 4 other recruiters Mr. Siranjeevi - Team Lead HR, Mr. Immanuvel Moses - Senior Executive HR, Ms. Rubikalakshmi - Senior Executive HR, Ms.Kiruthika - Junior Executive HR. The preliminary interview was an online assessment and around 300 candidates attended the drive and the shortlisted students will have Final interview.

MMC INFOTECH – RECRUITMENT DRIVE

ICT ACADEMY in association with MMC INFOTECH placement drive held on 09.02.2023 & 10.02.2023 at our campus for the role of Email support, Voice support & Backend role for the department of Computer Science, Physics, Maths, IT, Tamil, BCA & MBA for both UG & PG. The drive initiated with a pre-placement talk by Mr. Allen Joy J, Relationship Manager - ICT Academy started explaining the opportunities and its association with MMC INFOTECH, It was further carried forward by Mr. Keerthivasan – HR Manager Talent Acquisition, MMC INFOTECH and MR.N. Badrinath - Assistant Vice President, MMC INFOTECH. The preliminary interview was a written assessment and around 317 candidates attended the drive and 161 students were shortlisted for the final Group Discussion round and 57 students got selected.

SHRIMATI INDIRA GANDHI COLLEGE in association with GTT-BARCLAYS & GTT-ATOS PRAYAS, CSR INITIATIVE conducted a Training Program on Soft skill development for Final Years UG/PG of various departments in our campus. GTT BARCLAYS training program was conducted for 2 days as offline mode, 1 day online session & GTT ATOS PRAYAS program was conducted for 2 days as offline mode, 6 day online mode.

Around 736 students attended the training program and got the knowledge about Life skills for employability and CRM. All the students will be certified from GTT in association with BARCLAYS and ATOS PRAYAS.

Integrated Enterprises Placement drive held on 27.01.2023 at our campus for the department of BCOM (All streams) and MBA. The drive initiated with a pre placement talk by Mr. Balaji, AGM – HR services and it was a face to face interview. The interview was conducted by 4 other recruiters Mrs. Keerthana, Senior Executive – HR Services, Mr.Ganesan S, AVP – Sales, Mr.Srinivasan A, DGM – Sales, Mrs. Sharmila P, Area Manager – Sales. A total number of 131 students attended the drive of which around 62 students got selected for the role of Customer Support Executive and Relationship Manager.
