PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

This Semester bears testimony to many Meetings, Seminars
and Workshops on societal and subject-related themes addressed
by erudite personalities. Some of the important programmes of the
Semester are listed below:

 The launching of the Chennai Chapter of the Alumnae Association
on 01.12.2018.

 The Video Conferencing on "General Trends in Technology"
with Mr. Jahbir, Credit Swiss Bank, Singapore on 07.12.2018.

 The Exchange of Mou with Primax Foundation on 08.12.2018.

 The Orientation Programme on Role of ICT in Teaching and Learning by Ms.R.Valli,
IBS University, Papua New Guinea on 22.12.2018.

 The live relay and Peer Discussion on Union Budget 2019 on 01.02.2019.

 The conduct of IMPETUS (Intra-collegiate meet) by the Department of
Management Studies on 09.02.2019.

 The video conferencing on Strategic Management with Ms.T.N.Kanchana Chitra,
Assistant General Manager, Legal IBS, Bangalore on 13.02.2019, organized by the
Department of Commerce.

 The Industrial Visit to Tulya Food Products, Perambalur and the Airport Authority
of India undertaken by the Department of Management Studies.

 The International Women's Day 2019 celebrated in collaboration with All Ladies
Clubs of Trichy on 08.03.2019 and

 The Faculty Development Programme on Skin Health Care conducted by
Dr.N.Balasubramanian, National Vice President, IADVL, Deputy Director,
SRM Medical College, Trichy.

Academically, it was a very fulfilling Semester. The extra-curricular activities were
also as usual, satisfactory. Though it was a semester of crowded activities, the

staff and the students rose to the occasion and were equal to the task. The

College is proud of the tremendous team work that was on exhibition.
